traditions, deliver a kitchen that complements the beautiful design, style and function that works
with the rest of the house. The kitchen has all necessary amenities: large fridge freezer and
compartment that makes and stores ice. There is an integral electric cooker and hob and extractor
fan. The kitchen has a small but pleasant breakfast bar that sits comfortably with the remainder of
the kitchen, dining area and lounge. The kitchen has a lovely small window overlooking a small lane
and provides lovely views of the lake, mountains and back of the property.
The home provides a beautiful area, which undoubtedly ensures there is a wonderful dining
experience. The indoors dining area has been carefully placed in a delightful spot opposite the
large expanse of 2 double windows. As the home enjoys an elevated position, the persons dining
and seating position is provided over the beautiful and spacious garden at the front of the property.
The dining area enjoys a very pleasant view of a good sized communal pool, with seating areas
surrounding it. From the dining room there is also a pond which contains fish.
The dining room also enjoys being directly opposite 2 beautiful large Thai influenced traditional
wooden doors. These doors open fully outwards to provide beautiful views of the outdoor sala, the
spacious terrace and the beautiful gardens and natural countryside.
The lounge has a tasteful, but very relaxing ambience with a comfortable sitting area which has 4
large double floor to ceiling windows, again designed to maximise the Thai natural lighting and
sunshine. Three of the windows can be opened outwards to enjoy a different perspective of the
elevated position of the house and the remaining window opens onto the terrace which can also be
accessed directly from the lounge. This room also provides beautiful views, specifically the
countryside and the mountains.
As all Of the windows are designed to open outwards, the occupant has the choice of either using
the installed air conditioning system which is located in the lounge and can be operated via the
remote control or can choose to open all or partial numbers of the windows, depending where they
would like the air flow to be, or alternatively they may wish to open all windows which then provides
a continuous flow of fresh air throughout the house.
The lounge has a beautiful contemporary feature (decorative wall). This is not only an aesthetically
pleasing addition to the lounge, but also houses a TV and DVD
The sala is perhaps the best part of the house. It lends itself to timely access to the kitchen, for
preparing, cooking and transfer of food/ beverages and can provide a stunning and beautiful
atmosphere and ambience that can be either informal or formal dependant on the occasion etc.
The sala is the perfect place to relax both day and night, a place to eat, drink and watch the world
go by whilst listening to the sounds of nature.
The sala has beautiful lighting in various key areas of the house and gardens. It provides a sense of
calm, contentment and peace and people describe the way they feel about the home, garden and
surroundings as having a strong connection with its people, culture, traditions, values and Thai way
The sala has a beautiful contemporary take of the traditional Thai gable roof known as Ngao.
The sala has a number of modern down lighting under the main roof, which aims to provide
ambience and also has a large rotating fan operated either by a remote control or wall operated
The terrace can be accessed through the double entrance doors or from the lounge sitting room. Its
space provides an alternative seating area which enjoys the surrounding countryside and grounds of
the Royal Garden Resort.
The house has a beautiful large garden at the front of the property which has some established
The back of the house has a rather private and intimate feel. This pretty little garden enjoys the
country lane and woodlands. The back garden has outdoor lighting positioned over the garden and
plants to provide not only essential lighting for night time use but an atmospheric and pleasant
ambience conducive to the wonderful smells, sights and sounds of outdoor living in Thailand.
OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE
The house has a unique feel from the large expanse of outdoor living space underneath the house.
This is quite different to the feel of the terrace and Sala. It has very pleasant zones of seating and
dining space that take advantage of the different view points, shade and of course the persons
preference and choice of activity.
The outdoor living space has a number of garden seats from:
- Two wooden single bench chairs which provide the ideal area for a couple/2 people to
enjoy the relaxing and private feel of the garden.
- A single swinging hanging seat, which can be moved to wherever the person would like to
be, whilst listening to the beautiful sounds of the countryside
- A lounge bed is such a lovely way to relax, kick off your shoes and recline back into the bed.
- There is a dining table to enjoy outdoor living, alfresco or perhaps enjoy a glass of wine and
a lovely meal from the local restaurant.
Outside the entrance of the Royal Garden Resort there is a lovely coffee shop which provides
delicious hot/cold beverages and snack’s. This is a great service especially when you are a little
hungry and you can walk to this in 2 minutes. The owners have a wonderful customer focus and they
care about the service.
