New rental contract law in Thailand to come into force in May 2018

An updated property rental law set to pass in May 2018 in Thailand will likely have an impact on property owners, landlords, tenants and agents – “a very significant impact on residential lease contracts in Thailand”

This notice imposes new requirements for residential property lease contracts / rental agreements including a long list of provisions which must, or must not, be included in all such rental contracts.

NOTE: This new development only applies to residential property landlords with 5 or more properties.
